8 Week Mommy & Baby Yoga

Begins: Sept.23rd, 2025

When: Tuesdays @ 11:30AM

Instructor: Brittany London
Level: All Levels

Duration: 50 minutes

Class Description:

This gentle, restorative-style class is designed to support mothers as they reconnect with their bodies after birth, while also embracing the tender new season of life with their babies. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and restorative postures, we’ll focus on strengthening the pelvic floor, rebuilding core stability, and releasing tension in areas that carry the weight of motherhood.

Mothers are encouraged to move at their own pace, listening deeply to what their bodies need. Babies are welcome to be nearby, incorporated into movements, or simply resting alongside. This practice is as much about healing and self-care as it is about creating space to bond with your baby and with other mothers in community.

No prior yoga experience is necessary—just an open heart and the willingness to nurture yourself as you nurture your little one.

Brittany

“The principles of yoga have always been apart of my life but the physical practice was introduced to me in 2009 while working at Lululemon in Halifax. After having my daughter in 2011, I dove deeper into my personal practice and decided to get my 200 hour Yoga teacher certification with a concentration in Ashtanga Yoga while I was living in France from the Global Yoga Shala. Since then I have completed several workshops in France and Canada. I love all styles of Yoga but the one I’m most drawn to at this point in my life is Yin/Yang. I love the Balance and contrast of tension and release. Our world is made of duality and I find it therapeutic to imitate that on the mat so we can embrace it more fully off of the mat in our daily lives.”

Becca

“I felt a pull toward yoga in my mid twenties. I mostly knew it would compliment all the weight training and boot camps I was teaching at the time. Little did I know that it would be a life game changer for me. I learned so much about myself and the Ayurvedic approach in that year of teacher training. Yoga inspires a pure connection to your inner world and brings me so much joy to experience that shift with others. I really enjoy teaching slower but strong flows and foundational yoga. Like planting a seed and watching it grow.” Rebecca has her 200 HR Yoga Teacher Certification.

Nancy

“Nancy has been exploring & practicing the ancient practice of yoga & meditation for over 30 years. Nancy delights in inspiring others to mentally, physically, and spiritually flourish in their lives. Through classes, retreats, coaching and yoga teacher training Nancy has a passion for sharing ancient practices to help foster health and well-being of mind, body and spirit. She delights in teaching others how to open, release, awaken and transform struggle into strength that allows students to grow, blossom and thrive. In 2007 she founded Namaste Yoga & Wellness Centre in BC, which is still operating today. And in 2012, she established Namaste School Of Yoga, where she will continue to offer Yoga teaching training at the 200 hr level. Nancy believes in honouring yoga by teaching all aspects.
