Brittany

“The principles of yoga have always been apart of my life but the physical practice was introduced to me in 2009 while working at Lululemon in Halifax. After having my daughter in 2011, I dove deeper into my personal practice and decided to get my 200 hour Yoga teacher certification with a concentration in Ashtanga Yoga while I was living in France from the Global Yoga Shala. Since then I have completed several workshops in France and Canada. I love all styles of Yoga but the one I’m most drawn to at this point in my life is Yin/Yang. I love the Balance and contrast of tension and release. Our world is made of duality and I find it therapeutic to imitate that on the mat so we can embrace it more fully off of the mat in our daily lives.”

Becca

“I felt a pull toward yoga in my mid twenties. I mostly knew it would compliment all the weight training and boot camps I was teaching at the time. Little did I know that it would be a life game changer for me. I learned so much about myself and the Ayurvedic approach in that year of teacher training. Yoga inspires a pure connection to your inner world and brings me so much joy to experience that shift with others. I really enjoy teaching slower but strong flows and foundational yoga. Like planting a seed and watching it grow.” Rebecca has her 200 HR Yoga Teacher Certification.

Anne

“Anne is a certified 200Hr Yoga instructor and CanFitPro Pro Trainer with more than 25 years of experience teaching group fitness and movement. As a certified Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS), she brings a strong foundation in exercise instruction, anatomy, movement and working with people of varying abilities and fitness levels. Anne’s passion for yoga is reflected in her approach to teaching. She believes yoga should be welcoming, accessible and enjoyable, whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or have been practicing for years. Anne creates a supportive and encouraging environment where students can explore their practice without feeling intimidated or pressured to perform. She believes there is value in both challenge and stillness, and encourages students to listen to their bodies, breathe with intention and find what feels right for them.”

Denise

“I have always felt that movement was my first language - my love language. A relationship I am continuously nurturing & expanding. I started weight lifting in my late teens, found yoga in my early twenties. And naturally felt drawn to take my 200hr YTT, in 2020, while living in Alberta. I resonated so deeply with a practice that went deeper than postures. A practice that embodied many principles, many modalities. A practice that embodied our authentic essence. This is what you can expect from my classes. Full bodied, mystical & infused with life. Most recently, my love for movement has taken me to complete my 100hr mat Pilates instructor certification. It has become a beautiful blend, & merging of all my teachings.

Ellen

“Yoga has always been the place I returned when I needed grounding, clarity, or simply permission to breathe.  After years of experiencing how deeply yoga supported me, I decided to complete my 200 hour teacher training as a way to give back. Teaching felt like the natural next step - an opportunity to share the practice that helped me heal & grow.”
